Abby Connors and her eclectic group of dog-rescuing friends are off on another adventure in Larceny on a Leash. This is the second in the Dog Rescue Mystery series, based in Tucson, Arizona, that mixes dog rescue and crime in a delightful blend of information and suspense. As Abby and the rescuers deal with an unexpected litter of puppies, a pair of scam artists move into the area in search of victims. Offering many helpful services, including house and pet sitting, the pair soon cross paths with Abby, and an immediate and mutual distrust forms. When one of their scams goes awry and they fall under suspicion of burglary, the duo is delighted to discover Abby is also a suspect, and they craft a plan to further frame her for the crime. Now the chase is on for Abby to clear her name and put the scammers behind bars before anyone else she cares for is hurt.

Can’t stop reading!!
“Loved Larceny on a Leash! Enjoyed the first part which offered some insights into dog rescue (and golden retriever puppies). As the story developed and the dog rescuers became more and more entangled with a couple of nefarious siblings, the excitement mounted to the point that I couldn’t put the book down until I read the last page. A ‘must’ read!”

Fast paced fun mystery
“I really enjoyed this story. Good characters and lots of action. Ms. Sanford does a good job handling multiple characters and their involvement in both the mystery and the work done in dog rescue. The crooks are too clever for their own good and readers will cheer when a K9 named Titan does his job.”
